Denzil still lives in Cardiff, son of Ivor, born in 1935 and has a son Ian with his late wife Sylvia. He has one tortoise and a million goldfish!

The Canadian Connection
Every family has a nomad in it's midst, one who decides to pack his bags and try his luck in far flung places....and ours was no exception. Fred & Jessica Robertson had one by the name of Charles, brother of Arthur, Jim, Ivor, Elsie and Daisey. Born on 20th September 1910 in Cardiff, Wales, he decided in about his nineteenth year to emigrate to the land of snow, moose, men who walk along rivers on logs and mounted policemen in funny hats.......Canada. He went with a man named John Revell, who little seems to be known, I just presume he was also from Cardiff. I have secured the help of Eleanor Johnston, one of Charlies daughters, who kindly sent some photos and information. These are the first known pictures of Charles in Canada, taken at Hargrove farm in 1932. I'm guessing it is in Oshawa, where Charles went. Charles is on the right in the big picture,

This was the last picture of the four sisters taken together,
L to R: Pauline, Juanita, Eleanor and Amelia.
Juanita died on October 11th, 2011....one month to the day after 9/11 in thr USA.
